Pittstown Period Garden
Our clients brought us this great period garden project with many site challenges. We designed this formal center axis garden with many grade changes and intimate spaces. The hardscape consisted of dry-laid stone set in random fashion with stone steps to accommodate the many grade changes. The highlight of the project is an upper bluestone patio retained by a dry stacked fieldstone wall covered by a pavilion. The initial phase included the base plantings with more elaborate perennial plantings to come to give it a cottage garden feel.
